Being born and raised in South Florida, I have a full appreciation of what makes this a special place and why I never left. Enjoying the beach, ocean, culture, the infamous ”$15, No Block“ to park at the Orange Bowl for Hurricanes games, the Rascal House, Knaus Berry Farm, Joe’s, Cafecito, not having to live with “real winter”, and of course the growth of the area into a major US metropolis. I have seen and experienced it over the last 35+ years and to this day I always reflect and think about how awesome it is to live and work here. There are not many places in the US, let alone the world where you can enjoy so many activities, places, and cultures. When I am not working, I am spending time with my family, or enjoying the beautiful reefs and taking friends diving for lobster.
